GAAAAAH! Why, Mark Crilley?! Why are your footsteps so hard to follow in?! Oh yeah, because I have all the patience of a four-year-old brat kid in Walmart who's been there for two hours and was promised ice-cream on the way home  =.=

the lighting that my phone's camera provides makes this look better than it is. 

Could one of you fancy-shmancy pro artists who can draw photo-realistic stuff like it's cake help me out with some criticism? 

I'm. . .not the best at this. I mean, I'm not that bad, but I know that I could really use some improvement. There are times when I'd like to draw emotional drawings with a good dose of soul in them, but my style is so adapted for cartoons that. . .ehhhh. . .you get the point.
